"Native", Wooden Bowl Hand Carved from Service Berry Tree

Walker Williams note: This bowl was 10 years in the making. This Service Berry Bush/ Tree is the largest I had ever seen. Unfortunately, it was knocked down in an ice storm. I had never worked with Service Berry and wanted to see what could be made of this wood. It turned out to be a Windfall, pardon me for the pun. I started turning this bowl and found the wood to be too wet. I put it on the shelf for nearly 10 years. I just happened to come across it again and realized it was now dry enough to fashion into a bowl. Being a mountain man into nature I realized this bowl needed to have a Native American Theme. Like many of my hand crafted items it is " one of a kind".
